We have had the privilege of helping two gray paws dogs!
Our first one was Eleanor, who was brought in by animal control. We went to visit her and shockingly she loved my husband more than me! But quickly became my dog! 😊 Sadly, we lost her to cancer, but we gave her the best life when we had her. She was wonderful with our littles and she is missed every day.
Our most recent Gray Paws dog is Emma. I went back and forth on this one since “I didn’t really need another dog” but she kept coming across my Facebook. I kept thinking, “I need to meet this dog”. I waited and waited then eventually messaged Darla to set up a meet and greet. It was meant to be! She is the perfect addition to our family.
Our family photos show how much senior dogs give love. My heart truly is taking care of these older dogs and animals in need. And I’m so thankful to be a part of Gray Paws Sanctuary and what they do!
